dresses for less

i love wearing dresses especially during the summer but i can't help wearing them all year round anyway. it's just easy breezy and comfortable. for fall, just add tights and pumps or a pair of booties for a polished look. 

here are pieces i love from zara. best of all they are mostly under $ 100!

we will be leaving in a few weeks for a last summer trip and i thought to share a board of in-flight must-haves for a stylish look and some comfortable luxuries. a big tote, large sunnies, comfy flats and a lip blam to fight off in-flight dehydration are a just a few musts to have handy!

how do you wear a pair of brightly colored pair of pants? 

i think it's best worn with a neutral hued top such as grey, black, navy or cream. accessories can be played with yet another vivid color such as a pink clutch or orange bangles. how do you wear your's?

currently obsessed with....

so, i picked this up randomly at my fave store today and i knew i may not end up getting this bright pair of jeans. but boy oh boy, was i wrong. it is made of some japanese cotton twill that is so divinely soft and comfortable and i didnt want to take them off! 

they come in ALL colors. i am wanting the emerald green next. 

back to school

i cant believe it's already august and school starts in no time.

and nothing speaks back-to-school to me than a pair of brogues and a colorful plaid shirt.

i no longer attend school but i still get the thrill browsing shelves after shelves of school supplies for my little one (who's really only in pre-K) but i get excited shopping for him even if it means stocking up on new socks, shirts and shorts. his school provides him his tote and he just received a monogrammed lunch box for his birthday, so those are crossed off his list! phew!
